Our Program
Andover Tennis is a "no cut" program. Students from beginner to aspiring pro are encouraged to join us in the Fall (Girls) and in the Spring (Boys) for some great matches against schools in the Northwest Suburban Conference of the Minnesota State High School League. We typically have 4 Girls Teams and 2-3 Boys Teams ranging from Varsity to Junior Varsity to C-Squad.

David Leafblad
David Leafblad was hired as the Head Girls Tennis Coach at Andover High School, bringing a wealth of experience in both tennis and coaching. A former Blaine High school graduate, he has a wealth of northwest suburban tennis experience. He played college tennis at Bethel University, and has honed his skills both

David Leafblad was hired as the Head Girls Tennis Coach at Andover High School, bringing a wealth of experience in both tennis and coaching. A former Blaine High school graduate, he has a wealth of northwest suburban tennis experience. He played college tennis at Bethel University, and has honed his skills both on and off the court. With a background as a seasonal tennis pro, David has developed a keen understanding of the game, helping athletes enhance their skills and strategies. In addition to tennis, he also has experience coaching college basketball, showcasing his versatile coaching abilities. Passionate about mentoring young athletes, David is committed to fostering a competitive yet supportive environment for the girls' tennis team. David Leafblad resides in Blaine with his wife Ashley, Beckham, and Naomi.
-JV Coach, Jen Clark works at Oak View Middle School in Andover and has been with the High School Tennis program for 5 years.
